Description
The pH increaser media cartridge is filled with these ceramic balls and uses a depth filterflow configuration to allow for sufficient contact time to raise the pH. For consistent pH levels we recommend using Reverse Osmosis feed water. Adjustment of flow rate to meet your pH goals is required on site. We recommend that the water be run for 15-30 seconds, each time the cartridge dispenses water to ensure that the water within the cartridge is flushed prior to consumption. This will optimize the pH as the pH and dissolved solids will increase during non-use within the cartridge.
CAUTION: Never isolate the cartridge by closing shut off valves before and after the cartridge.Isolating the cartridge can increase the pressure greater than design specifications resulting in cartridge failure! Install after the Reverse Osmosis storage tank! Change the cartridge every 12 months. 2.0 GPM, 4″ x 17.5″
